Philips 18W LED bulbs not for enclosed fixtures

Are we talking 12v or 120v lights?

An 18w 12v light would be even more impressive than a 18w 120v light.



Here's an 18 watt module for the porch light on my RV. It got too hot, over 100C at 18 watts, so I dialed it back to about 10w - it gets up to a toasty 60C or there abouts. The chips are rated to operate at up to 150C, but I think that'd be too much for the plastic housing the module is installed in.

It's still so much brighter than the 27w halogen bulb that was in there from the factory.
