Picture Posting Test Thread

Here is my photo. All I did was drag it from my computer and dropped it on the Photo Posting App page. Then I copied the URL and pasted it here.

1. Go to the picture posting app here.

2. Click on the blue "or Select" button.

3. Navigate to the place on your computer where you store your pictures and double click on the picture you want to upload to the app.

4. Wait for your picture to upload. You will know when it is done when the URL for your picture appears and the picture itself will show in the app. This sometimes takes a while - like maybe a minute or so.

5. Copy the URL in the box under the picture by holding down your left mouse button and dragging the blue line across the whole URL.
Right click on the blue line and then left click on "copy" in the box that shows up.

6 Go to your post that your are making and Paste it into the post buy right clicking on the spot where you want it, and then selecting "paste" (left click)from the menu that comes up.

7. You are done! Your picture will now appear in your post and be properly sized for use on the forums.

Hope this helps you. Go ahead and try it in this thread. If you make a whole lot of errors, that is ok. I will just delete them. Keep trying until you get it. It is really quite simple. Just upload, copy and paste. 🙂

Thank you Barney. It must be something my iPhone is doing, cause I did simply add as was. Picture by the way is in Colorado facing east from base of Mt Elbert. Twin Lakes on the right and Forebay res on the left. Beautiful area, close to Independence Pass as well

The reason why is because you did not paste the url that the app gave you directly into your post. You added another img statement at the beginning and end (meaning you now have two of them) which indicates you tried to use the forum picture icon at the top of the posting box.

I am going to take the extra img statements out and your picture will show up. Click on "edit" if you wish to see what I did. (beautiful photo by the way!)

In the future, just paste what you get from the app into your post. Don't add anything. 🙂
