On another thread I was asked to post some pics of this project.I took out the booth, turned the seats end to end, cut the height down about 3" to fit,under my window. Strengthened it up quite a bit, and added a 110 receptacle in the face.Used all the factory cushions, and the paneling that used to be on the backs, re-did the parts that had been notched for the wheelwell.Happy to answer any questions.Thanks for all the good advice I get on here. OH YEA, and I took the cushions to a local upholstery shop. Had them cut new foam for the seats. A LOT more dense.Now it doesn't feel like I'm sitting on plywood.Boy was that a good mod.

I've stretched out on it quite a few times watching tv. very comfortable, and bigger than sleeping on a regular couch.It ends up almost 7 feet long.Perfect for 2 people and a dog.:)I can also take off the back cushions for more sleeping room.My dad always told me, "I don't care how long the trailer is, it only sleeps two". :)

Good question indeed. I agree that is beautiful work though.

Lifestyles vary and I would never get rid of my dinette. We occasionally have another couple over for supper and find the dinette indispensable when it comes to having to eat indoors because of the weather or whatever. I am right now typing this message from the dinette table which is also a desk when need be.

scottG Good question. There are just the two of us, and the dog.
We have two of the wood folding tv tables.
They store under the couch, with all my tools etc, when travelling and don't use any floor space when not in use.
They work well for meals, then go to the ends of the couch in the evening, and make great end tables, then back under the couch.
I did save any and all parts I took out, in case I change something else, or the next owner has different needs.
Nice to have my own parts dept.
I couldn't even take the finish on the wood tv tables. I had to put a couple more coats of clear on them.

Great job! If not for resale concerns, I would have converted my dinette to a home entertainment center while full-timing, but I like your take on it too. Living alone while full-timing I never felt the need to eat at the booth and always ate on my couch.
