Mandalay Bay Las Vegas- Oversize Parking

Mandalay Bay has an oversize parking lot (GPS 36.088823, -115.171617) Enter from Four Season Drive across from the casino near the gas station. Room for any size RV with lots of space. Easy in and out.

We checked with the front desk and this is an approved free parking for RV's. We did not use the work "Camping".

Thanks for the heads up. Excellent info.

We stayed in a hotel room for good and valid reasons, but I spoke to a person that has "camped" with sides out for 3 nights.
  • They would let you stay in a cardboard box as long as you come in and spend $$ in the casino....

Isn't that being a bit deceitful, specifically avoiding the fact you intend to stay in the RV? Over the years we have seen all sorts of ridiculous attempts to circumvent rules and policies. You knew what you intended to do, yet felt it was necessary to avoid telling the whole truth. Why?

In this case, I assume it was because they were actually staying in a hotel rather than in the RV, as they noted in a later post.
  • some of the reasons I could think of for someone to stay in a hotel while traveling in an RV are, they are transporting it to the new owners, the need to soak in a bathtub (this would be #1 in my wife's book), meeting business associates, anyone else want to add to this list ?
  • It's been raining for a week and you are sick of being in the camper. Of course there is not much chance of that in Vegas.
  • Change of scenery? I know that my wife and I still enjoy a hotel stay when we're RVing. Especially as fulltimers.

We parked next to a fifth wheel in the New York, New York Resort's parking garage in Vegas:

No signs of life or occupancy: steps are up and door handle if flipped over.
