RV Lock 35% off sale

Good only until 7/21/2019 11:59pm
.
https://www.rvlock.com/

I bought one and absolutely love it. Bought a 2nd remote that I should have returned. I don't use the 1st remote, much less the second one.
  • Just an FYI...Although these locks are nice and I have one, after one year you can definitely notice which numbers get used to unlock/lock the RV. Using the remote more often would help with this, but it won't eliminate it. I have sent an email to RVLock to inquire about a new keypad but have not received a reply yet.

Time to change the combo! :)

That was the first thing I did. Using a combination of worn pad numbers and numbers that had not been used before. If it's not possible to get a new pad, I'll keep changing it until all the numbers look worn. You would think though for the amount of money they charge for these locks they would use a keypad that doesn't show wear after one season.
  • Is it worn, or just possibly dirty?

I'm almost positive I saw you can replace the keypad, but check with the mfg.

i love ours... I just wish they had a matched key for a thin door baggage compartment :(
  • I wrote the company and they provided me with a link to purchase a new keypad membrane. We love ours too. It's nice to know you can order replacement parts for them too!

Philh, we replaced all of our storage door locks that used to use the CH751 key with barrel cam locks. One key for all of the locks and not everyone has a key! Not that they stop anyone from gaining access but it gives me a little peace of mind anyway.
  • I really wanted cargo key to match the RVLock door key.

RVLock sells the cam locks too and claim they are keyed alike. I don't know if just the cam locks are keyed alike or if they are the same key for the RVLock too but maybe you can email them and ask. They were prompt in replying to my email.

They don't make a lock that works in my trailer
