Satellite misconnection?
Well, I thought I had made a great move by relocating my interior tv connection and replacing the existing cable connection with the 3ghz "satellite" connectors. Apparently, something isn't working correctly.
I set up my Wineguard Pathway X2 dish and ran the cable that comes with it directly to the receiver, called DISH, and activated everything. Next, I ran the DISH cable to the exterior connection of the camper (where I had previously replaced the connector that came with the camper with a 3ghz, as I recall reading that they work better with satellite) and got nothing. I then ran the cable directly to the receiver again and was able to get a signal. I went back and forth like this a few times with no results.
The ONLY thing I can think would be the problem is that when I replaced the original exterior connector with a 3ghz, I didn't replace the original cable that came off of that original connector. I'm having a hard time believing that could be the problem, but, could it be? What say ye, old wise ones?
