A Long, Long time ago, we made some soda can holders for the refrig. They were made of plastic mesh and cut and molded into shape with plastic ribbon.
Anyone have the directions?
We need some for our new refrigerator.

All you need is plastic mesh and yarn.
Cut 2 rectangles a tiny bit larger than the width of a soda can laying down for the top and bottom of the box ( and 2 x plus the height - so you can have a stack of 2 or 3 cans ) Your choice how high you want it
Then cut 2 appropriate sides to fill in your upper and lower sections. Weave the edges together with the yarn to make an open ended box.
You should now have what looks like an open ended, shorter, and taller 12 pack of soda.
Next cut one piece of mesh to fully enclose one end, which will be the back.
If you want double or triple stacked sodas in the box, make the final end big enough to enclose about 1 1/2 ( or 2 1/2 ) x the height of the laying down soda, so they don't fall out.
Once you start working on it, it will be super easy, and materials should be under $5. You can get the plastic mesh at Michael's or WalMart.
Have fun!
