Torklift is making my forum membership a happy thing!

Recently, I was selected by Torklift Intl. to receive a product for customer evaluation (free of charge!). The product was going to be a Hidden Power Battery Box but the box will not work with my truck. Instead they sent me the Power Armor Battery Box. This is a really nice box, powder coated and the top slides off for easy access. It also equipped for a lock.

I'm really grateful to Trailerlife.com and Torklift International for establishing a program like this for me and fellow RV'ers. Much thanks! Now where to mount the box.....?:)

I think alot of us have been offered the same deal. I just never felt good doing something like that... They bugged me four or five times.

Two or three folks on here was really pushing their products so guess they got the same deal too haha...

Lets us know what happens later on...

    Happy trails...

I really don't see any downside for accepting their offer. They want to know how their products work in real life from actual users. If I like the product, I'll tell others so that is good advertizing. If not, and they ask me, they might change the product to better fit the user.

From my end, the moment the product landed at my door, it becomes mine to do with what I please. I anticipate a follow-up email or two so that the evaluation by Torklift can be completed but a few words typed in response is not a hardship.

If they give you another shout, I would suggest you take them up on an offer. You may not get a battery box but whatever they offer may be useful.
  • The only deal I was offered seemed fair to me. They sent me 2 products that I'd try and review for them. I received 2 RV related products and if they sucked, I'd have said so!

  • They sent me a PM today asking if I'd evaluate the Glow Guide. I'm going to give it a try.

You lucky dog. I was hoping for one of those myself to evaluate. There's definitely a need for something like that.
    Happy trails,
  • Yep, Torklift rocks!

I was part of their last product testing group and received a fantastic diamond plate battery box and a propane lock!

    They do make quality products!

I think I suggested to them to make a black box and a white box available to the consumer as well.

    Sweet box, congrats West.

    Thanks Jim!
Yeah, the folks at Torklift are very easy to deal with and I hope they keep this evaluation program going. I think it is an excellent way to market and assess the products. They seem to build their stuff with the RV user in mind and, from first glance, the products have some quality.

That Glo Glide handrail looks to have a bit of engineering and thought behind it, too!

I will be installing two 6v's inside the TT so if I combine two more 6v's into that bank and use this box, I'll have 540 AH total. Let it rain, who cares :B.
