Hey Guys Im building a 7' x 12" pull behind , got the frame all done and Im real sure the water and sewage tanks get installed before the floor gets screwed down. Can't find many chioces to buy these tanks and other plumbing , fittings etc. would like to buy fr a wholesale place since Im in the boat mfg. business, but suppose a retail place will work. Im located in North Carolina outside Wilmington. Thanks in advance for any help.
I built a dog grooming van for my wife. I bought the tanks on ebay and the plumbing at Lowes and Home Depot. I shopped around and the best prices that I could find for tanks was on ebay.
When I built my off-road trailer I used Ronco http://www.ronco-plastics.com/ I bought the tank first and built the frame around it. They had the widest selection at the time I purchased
www.amazon.com search for "valterra fresh water tank" They are ABS tanks that you can easily repair if needed (use all purpose pipe glue from the hardware store.. will say it can be used on ABS pipe)
See if you have an RV surplus store anywhere in the area. If not, look for them on the internet. We are at one of these stores in Elkhart, IN and there were dozens of sizes and shapes to choose form.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK. Can't we all just get along?
