- donn0128Explorer IINo and good luck. Owners manuals are worthless and wiring schematics are pretty much the same. 12V? Start with a signal tester. 120V. Use a household tester.
What seems to be your problem? - n7bsnExplorerFYI, there was no wiring diagram -in- the owners manual. Fleetwood manuals were known for being good for starting a fire, and that was about it.
For you subsystems, many PDF manuals are available from the original manufacturer (ie Suburban, Norcold, etc).
For repairs get the RV Repair and Maintenance Guide by Bob Livingston - bcwillie11Explorerto donn0128 and n7bsn, thank you for your replies. Can't get the hood fan to work. There appears to be an open-short in the brown wire going from the DC fuze panel to the hood fan. I don't know if it feeds to something besides the hood vent fan. Does anyone know if that wire is feeding into anything other than the vent fan?
Also, am presently looking for the RV repair guide by Bob Livingston. - n7bsnExplorerIf I recall my last Fleetwood (1991), the stove fan was on a separate fuse. If that is what your fuse block says, there is probably nothing else on the circuit.
You've verified there is no power at the hood then? - donn0128Explorer IIPull the range hood down. I would be willing to bet the motor is toast.
- mobilefleetExplorerinstead of chasing down a nightmare why don't you just tap into the hood light and run a wire to the fan switch and be done with it. Use a scotchlock connector to tap into the light's hot wire. They are both 12 volt

On every rig we've owned that had a powered hood, the power the feed the fan also fed the light, same lead from the 12v power block. - OaklevelExplorerIt would be rare that there would be a wiring diagram for any camper. They do not normally exist.
