1997 Terry 25-5D & Water Damage
I've had this particular 5th wheel for about 2.5 years and while it's been a good rig, it's going to need some major repairs to fix existing and possibly new water damage.
When I bought the trailer, I knew that it had a little bit of existing damage underneath one of the back side windows, it seemed contained enough that we could fix it down the road and we have used the trailer since without much issue there.
That said, I believe there's also been some damage to the slide out over time, some of the metal trim is pulled a bit, etc. So there's that.
I've also discovered that it's been leaking up in the top right hand corner next to the bed... and that's probably the most significant damage I have found... and probably the hardest to repair.
My question is... when is it no longer worth fixing? It's too bad, I actually really like the layout and space and everything works just fine and it pulls great too. I am a reasonably handy person and have tackled a lot in my life... some good resources and advice on how to go about the repairs would be great too.
Let me know your thoughts! Part of me wants to sell it off and be done with it and another part of me doesn't want to let it go.
