2005 34TS Cardinal / Thermostat

does anyone have know of the model # on the Dometic Thermostat they were using back then, I gotta replace mine and it has no number on it anywhere, Or would any new Thermostat work as long as it was a Dometic, TY in advance.
  • Replace it. There are several digital ones that are AA battery powered that work much better. Hunter Douglas is one brand. There are lots of on line wiring schematics it get you going.
  • Does it look like this?

    Replace it with this...Honeywell RTH111 /RTH221

Or replace it with this.....Hunter 42999

Simple change out and you won't be disappointed

You can use just about any digital T-Stat, they are far better than an old bi-metal, they keep a more consistent temperature What I saw after our install was when cold out the furnace ran more often, but for shorter periods. The temperature in the 5er didn't have the hot and cold swings.

  • Nice to have the clock feature to start warming the trailer in the morning before getting up.
