I had a 2010 and there were issues with rusting screws in many areas. Not an uncommon problem with Cameo. Having said that, I also had a caulking leak in the front cap and the rusting screws on the underside were a sign.
Having said that, the construction is robust and unless you have other signs of a problem I would not let that one issue be the deciding factor. One of the few brands that used exterior plywood. If you do buy it, make sure it has heavy duty shackles with greaseable fittings. They did cheap out on that and those rigs will suffer a shackle failure with enough miles. Don't ask...but it is an inexpensive upgrade best not done when you get stuck in Amarillo.
Thanks, appreciate the info! If i buy it I'll make sure to change things up. The Morryde part number to upgrade the shackles and bushing is LRE12-001.
I'm wondering...is the water tank in the basement or under the frame in a Cameo?
