The frame has changed on the 13' as opposed to the 12'..I know, I had a 10 and a 12, which were the same, now the 13'. mine is set up for the adapter, but I too am waiting to see what the adapter will do for my 20K Reese Signature hitch....one can completely ignore the 5er/GN package and still mount the 5er hitch in the traditional way, one did just that on the Cummins forum and showed pictures, bummer is, you'll still have the 5 holes in your bed with the covers over them.

It wasn't well thought out to say the least.

The Dodge pucks are not the same as the Ford and Reese pucks.

I guess you wont call a 302 a 5.0? lol

Thanks for the info but 6.7 is meaningless to me, I grew up in a time when engine displacement was measured in cubic inches. If someone says 283, 327, 350, 409, 454 or any other cubic inch displacement I can visualize how big it is. If some gives me a number like 7.6 I have to look for a conversion calculator. I guess I am just too old to think metric. I am not as bad with distance because a yard is close to a meter and unless you get into real large numbers where the extra 3 inches add up one yard = one meter is close enough.

By the way the first thing I did when I got my truck was to convert 6.7 to cubic inches then I promptly forgot the number 6.7.

I also have a 409 cubic in engine which equals a lot of liters!

Does the 2013 have the pucks in the bed like the Ford trucks? I haven't seen the new Ram set up yet so I don't know. I have a 2012 Ram 3500 and I installed the Reese undermounts and put in a B & W 3300 which fits those undermounts and not the turnover ball. The one have is 20,000/5000lbs and of course they are USA made. Before you buy a hitch give B & W a call and find out if they have designed locks for the new Dodge mounts. You will not be disappointed.

I need to know are the pucks in the bed of Your Truck? If so a reese dealer sells a adapter to mount a hitch on to the pucks I have one for My slider reese not cheep but works.Bushman
