All I can add is this: the beauty of RVing is that you can bring everything with you. While I thought we traveled "light" - on our way home from FL, fully loaded with fuel in the truck and propane in the 5er and some water in the FW tank, we ran the truck/5er combo over the CAT scales - and I was astonished to see that our "dry weight #7700" 5er had grown to just over #10,000. It's not a problem - our 5er has the capacity and the truck has the oomph. I'm just amazed at how much weight a "ready for a week of travel" trailer really carries.
