Paid $80 each at Costco, +$12 core fee. - C_SchomerExplorerNo need to worry if you don't dry camp. Interstate car batteries have always been really good but I don't know anything about their RV batteries. I use a bipap and we dry camp a lot and always used 2 - 6v. FWIW, I can go 3 nights on T105s and NAPA Specialty but not on Costcos. I added solar so the Costcos are fine now. Craig
- ford_coupeExplorerthank you everyone for youir answers, will probably go w/interstate batt. we don't do any dry camping so i don't think a expensive one will be the ticket. thanks again for all the answers

Here's a good rule of thumb to use when replacing batteries. I fusing 6V bats, you add the voltage by putting them in series but only get the ampere hours of one battery (can't add amps in other words). So two 6V 450 ApH gives 12v at 450 amps. If you want 12v but want more amps (think leaving the lights on longer, running more lights, etc.) then use two 12v in parallel. Then using two 12v at 450ApH would give you 12V at 900 amps. The reserve amps is what you want to check not so much cranking amps. Also you want to use a deep cycle or marine style battery because of the type of cycling on the battery. You can choose what battery and price you want, you determine the price break based on amp hours and type of battery. - pcm1959ExplorerI got 2 Interstate 6 volt golf cart batteries from Costco for $90 each including battery fees as I had no core trade. So far, so good. My coach also came standard with a 3 stage charger which is important to longer battery life. Phillip
- Paul_ClancyExplorerI'm running 2 6volt us battery xc 2200 with a watering system. 90 amp charge wizard with desulfate mode to maintain them. Very pleased with performance on these.
