The hitch Old-biscuit mentioned is a good basic hitch that is reasonably price.

I had for 10 years a RBW Little Rocker which was very similar. Worked great.

I replaced it with a more expensive B&W hitch later to get the under bed mount and the rails out of the bed.

I've found the local dealers have the cheaper hitches but usually try to push the higher priced units. Did you ask the dealer you ordered your 5th W from what he had available. He should give you a good discount since your buying the RV from him.

You can also find used ones for a lot less.

On mine the Jaw closes the handle is locked, and I'm off ,and running. Never a question.

most,if not all new forest river signature 5th wheels come from the factory with a reese revolution pin box. is your 5th wheel new or used.
if you activate the pin box,you are limited to what brand of hitch you can use. i have a 2015 forest river ultra light with a revolution pin box and use a reese 5th wheel hitch in my 2015 ram diesel with the factory puck system.

Don't over look the Curt hitches I just bought a new one and they are very nice. I had a Husky 16 K in my old truck and it was a good hitch , but the new 16K Curt hitch is a dream to hookup and decouple very smooth.

I'm using a B&W Patriot with a 5th wheel about the same size as yours with my 2500 CTD. Been using it for 4 seasons. I'm no expert on 5th hitches so all I can say is it's super easy to use, built like a brick house and fairly cheap.

Definitely look at B W. After 5 different hitches I ended up with one of these. Really easy to use compared to some of them.
