Personally, i would pass on a Jayco as they are owned by Thor. The Solitude is a Grand design and owned by Winnebago.
While the floorplan can be important, I would still not buy a Thor over a Solitude. If it is a great floorplan and is always in the dealer's shop, you are not getting any enjoyment from the RV.
Dual pane windows are a big plus to me. Yes, some do fail and need to be repaired, but they provide for better insulation and less noise.
