6 Point Leveling

Hey guys I have a Durango Gold 380FL that I've been camping in for about 6 months now. My last camping trip was about one month ago. This week I attempted to hook the camper up to the truck to move it. Upon doing so, I ran into a problem with the hydraulic jacks. This camper has a 6 point leveling system on it. When attempting to raise or lower the jacks, they won't move an inch. The control panel is on and working, but the jacks do not respond. I have checked all fuses and all seem to be intact.

Any troubleshooting ideas from people who have similar setups?

Well, after the OP got on the phone with Lippert, the part was overnighted and installed. The system was calibrated and was ready for pickup, however, a tractor trailer delivering to the dealer hit the nose cap of the trailer.:M Camper was sent to body shop and was supposed to be returned today. This weekend may be a possibility yet!!

Methinks I'd find another dealer...

According to the OP, I talked to him again today, the system has a bad motherboard. The control head and the other board is fine, but it is going to take over 3 weeks to get the part according to Lippert! Completely floors me that a part will take that long from them. They will not be making our next trip with us which is 10 days away now.:M

Well, let's see Dillon. I think we figured it out for the weekend, but glad now it's at the dealer. I still do not understand why KZ sends you a packet full of 10amp fuses because they keep blowing.

The hydraulic fluid doesn't like the cold weather. I have had to get a fence post and leverage up a stubborn jack.
You can try using the manual mode and try raisng the jacks independently. Of course you must be hitched up first.

We went recently to look at some Fuzions. We dropped one we liked onto a Sherline scale to get the pin weight. Afterwards, it wouldn't go up. Everything else seemed to work like lights, slides, etc.

The salesperson hooked up a jump starter box to the battery and the 6 point system worked perfectly. As others have stated, you gotta have strong power from the battery.

I echo what rjr6150 said. My Lippert system would only work intermittently, and when I took it to my dealer they said the battery terminal connections were loose.

Call Lippert if still having trouble. They have been helpful to me.

Is it the Lippert System? First thing to do is check the battery reading voltage on your leveler control panel. My guess if it hasn't been plugged in battery is to low to activate the pump.
