A couple of questions about a 2013 Heartland Big Country.

My wife is wanting a bigger unit than our 2011 30 foot Sierra and found a 38 foot Big Country. When I checked it out I noticed a couple of things that I wanted to ask about:

1.The roof looked like canvass material instead of the rubber roof that mine has. Made me wonder if the roof had been replaced.

2. The unit has one black a/c unit and one white a/c unit. That also made me wonder if the white one was a replacement.

The unit is priced below nada, and seems to be in excellent shape. I just wanted to ask about the things that caught my attention

Thanks for any input.

Thanks for the reply. I am assuming that you have a similar unit? Did your unit come with 2 a/c units?

Also, what is your roof material?

Yes a Big Country , came with two black air conditioners. I have the standard rubber roof .

  • The white one is over the living area. The black one over the bedroom looks more color coordinated. I have only been a fiver for three years, but I cant imagine a 38 footer with only one a/c unit. I do appreciate the info. Thanks.

Is the white unit in the living room area? If so typically the Big Country doesn’t come with two AC’s. If the white one is over the living room thinking this is the original factory supplied unit.

You could call Heartland with the vin#. They will be able to tell you the build specs.

I’m just speculating here. One of the units was added at a later date another idea previous owner had to replace the shroud and could only find white/black.

    The roof question no idea.
