AC issues,

Hello! I have a 2003 komfort 5th wheel, I am a fulltimes in it! My issue is my AC unit makes a clicking noise and at times cycles on for a bit, then off,,, even when the wall thermostat switch is in the off position! Of which is a analog unit, not degital! I replaced that thermostat a few months ago in hoping that it may have been faulty! Nope! It’s on ac unit , and in ac cover on ceiling there’s a steel box, I hear, and even feel the clicking like it’s a relay or sensor? No idea really? I have checked all the fuses in main panel,, and 3 amp fuse in that box,, which I read about! Not even sure what that box is? In reading , it might possibly be the control box? Control box for what tho? I have picture of it, if I can insert a pic? If not it’s located under plastic cover on ceiling,,, aka AC vent! Would that box be the issue,if so can it be replaced?
