Advice

Hi all. We are looking at getting rid of our 5er toy hauler and getting a 2013 keystone montana 3750 fl. Anyone have any experience with them? Also, we are going through lazy days....what about recent dealings with them?
  • perhaps it's too much thread drift, but since I'm contemplating a 5er toy hauler to replace my Keystone 245RL 5er, I'm trying to get educated.
My biggest turnoff when I looked at TH years ago was too much "garage" as living area.
My obstacle for storing at home is a steep driveway with a pretty sharp approach angle. My current 5er hits the bumper on the driveway when I back in, so I have to ramp over the dip with boards as I back in.

Edit: above just looks like complaining ... I should have finished with "Tell me how you like yours? Or, how you see my issues as non-issues?" :)
  • We have a 2012 Montana 3750FL we love the front living room floor plan we have travel all over the Western US with it and enjoy everything about it we love the large bathroom we have washer and dryer in ours and for us we would not be without one it is so nice to get home and not have to do laundry.

A 5th wheel is easier to tow.

Precisely why we are trading one 5th wheel for another one
  • We do not have the same year of Montana, ours is a 2008. However, we have only had "very minor" everyday usage problems with it. The only major problem that we are dealing with now, are the "Trim Decals" peeling, ended up removing all of the decals last year and will paint the replacements on. Overall the Camper is a good unit, no real problems with it. ...Good Luck and Happy Camping !!
