Air compressor?

I have a viair on the trailer, with a 0.5 gallon tank, and a 120/150 pressure switch. I use it for filling things (tires, toys, airbags) but it can and will run the impact - just long enough to loosen a nut and spin it off. after a brake it will do the next one. Still faster then doing it by hand, and NOT having to start the generator for quick small things (like swim floaties) is a plus.

We got one from cw, a few yrs ago, called air lift, comes in its on bag, with extras. Been doing good for us, mh tires --80 cold. And now it's all --happy-camping

I have the Porter Cable pancake compressor with the 6 gallon tank. Works well in my home garage for smaller projects, and it fits in the underbelly storage for RV trips. 150 psi, and it's oil-less (no oil changes to worry about). Perfect for my application. Hope this helps.

I used the MV90 because it worked well with my setup, however I would recommend the Puma compressor as it comes mounted on a tank.

Highly suggest you look at the Puma 12v compressor. They are extremely popular with the 4x4 community. I stumbled across it just before pulling the trigger on a Viair.

Costs about $200 and blows away anything else in that price range, including Viairs that costs much more, plus it comes with an air tank.

I bought mine from Buzzard Gultch on Ebay. They are one of the few retailers for the unit.

have a Pancake 110v compressor in front storage with hose to get anywhere on the TV or TH.Use it alot to blow the dust off of everything after rides.Crank up genny and all the air you need.Carry a 12v in the Ranger in my Flat Bag along with plugs,patch and cement.If I go with someone else or take a quad,I just take the bag with me.The 12v would fill the TV or TH tires,but it takes half the time with the 150PSI Pancake.Will run air tools ,but I like the 20v Dewalt 1/2 in hammer.Its quick,easy and oh,so portable.

I never boondock so I don't need a 12V compressor, and I have an onboard generator if I need to use the compressor while traveling. Different strokes for different folks. Most 12V compressors don't work anywhere near that well.

A two gallon Viair tank. I run a 1/2" m7 impact wrench with it. Granted it won't run long but it will provide full torque for the few seconds it takes to pop loose a lug nut. It's onboard air for my Samurai (which is in the toy hauler). While I haven't needed it too often for my equipment, it is pretty popular on the trail with some of my buddies.
