Had a 38ft Alfa Gold with the basement air system. Loved it, kept the trailer very cool and it was quiet. I purchased the trailer used and the fellow I bought from said the basement a/c didn't work very well for the first year he owned it.Finally he called a real tech that knew the system to have a look and they found a seal between the unit and the air duct not installed correctly. Put the seal where it was supposed to be and it worked great. I actually would go back to that system over the two roof units I now have. If you happened to be where only got 30 amp you got 1 fan on the a/c unit operational, if you had 50 amps you got a second fan working and cooled even better.
