Is there a 30 foot fiver made today that is under 12 feet tall? Other than the micro fivers, such as the Scamp or whichever egg brand makes one (not 30' anyway, I know).

Perhaps there might be, but if so, the headroom in the front (usually the bedroom) is going to be extremely limited. If you want 2 A/Cs, consider that the 12' limiting measurement is going to be to the top of the front A/C, not to the roof of the 5th wheel. The bedrails on many trucks are 56" to 58" high, and the bottom of the 5th wheel overhang needs to be 6" to 8" above that, so that's 5'2" to 5'6" to the bottom of the overhang. Then add the distance from the bottom skin of the overhang, through the frame and up to the top surface of the floor, and subtract the thickness of the ceiling, ceiling joists and roof and you're going to be really challenged to get 6' of headroom - probably substantially less.Rusty

Yes, I am guessing that due to the height of the truck bed rails, it's a lost cause.

Keystone Springdale makes some 5ers under 12'. And the Keystone Cougar comes in at just a few inches over 12'. Probably some other brands also have similar models.

Jayco Eagle HT 28.5 witch is 31' comes in at 12' even. I believe the other HT models are the same. As for head room in the bedroom just over 6' I am 5'11" and I can walk all over in the bedroom without feeling like I am going to hit my head.

Yeah, the vary from model to model, some were 11'11" and also 12".

Winnebago's Voyage series 25RKS is 29', the 27RLS is 30'. Both are 11'8" high.

It seems like some years ago there were a lot of FW where the bedroom wan't tall enough to stand up in. This certainly kept the overall height of the trailer down but allowed you to still have the towing and length benefits of a FW. I would still like to have one of these models as an upgrade from my TC. Coming from a TC where I'm used to a bedroom height of about 3' one of these FWs would be really spacious.
I guess there's not much market for them because I rarely ever see one anymore.

Virtually all Work & Play toy haulers are listed as 11'6". I think Puma has some showing right around 12' as well.

We have a Keystone Springdale. Bought for this exact reason. We have a 12ft door on the shed we store it in.

The bedroom does not have 6ft headroom, but to us it is acceptable for the bedroom. It only has on AC, but it works for us.

My Reflection 337RLS was 11'11" when hooked up to the truck. However, it's 12'-10" now that I had a second AC installed.

I looked at the Grand Design Reflection Specifications. Here are the models listed as 12'-0".
