I've thought about this a lot, from a transflow replacement tank to the in bed variety and like Cummins12V98 I don't mind stopping every 3 or 4 hours to stretch and fill up. I have been very nervous about running out in remote areas a couple of times, rather than spend up to a couple grand for tank and install, I will buy a vented 5 gallon jug or two as a safety measure which will get me an extra 50 to 100 miles if needed. I think they are less than 40 bucks each. I think its legal to carry diesel this way, isn't it?
