Avalanche or Canion Trail?

We are looking to purchase a 5th wheel bunk house. We have narrowed our search down to 2 floor plans. Both plans are very close to our desires so we are down to the final decision. We have been unable to find a good comparison between the quality of the Keystone Avalanche and the Gulf Stream Canyon Trail. We would appreciate your thoughts.
  • If you look at a section thru of the Canyon trail wall, they have a thermal break by insulating over their metal studs. That is a good thing.
  • I have had a keystone product though it was a Montana not an Avalanche. Keystone is a good product IMHO.
I currently have a Canyon Trail by Gulf Stream which has also been a good unit, I don't think you can go wrong with either unit.
Good Luck with which ever you choose.
  • Does anyone know anything about the Salem Hemisphere 356QBQ? I am leaning toward the Canyon Trail but in our area we are not able to see one and if we order one it takes up to 6 weeks to get it. Kind of concerned about ordering something we can't see.

Canyon Trail dealer National Travelers RV in Conway, AR.
Don't know how close that is to you.
  • Thanks all. Looks like we will go back to Conway and talk to David there again. He is about an hour away. Appreciate all your thoughts and input.
