- Carl_n_SusanNomad IIShade-Pro makes side awnings that automatically disconnect when retracting the awning. I saw it at the Yuma Market. It is exactly what you are looking for. They also have the front drop shade awning which can be rolled up with the awning.
- md_procoupleExplorerWhat we did last summer was just put a "Blue Tarp" over one end of the awning, and simply tied it down. Again good Luck
- Nutinelse2doExplorerIt's called a Sideblocker. Carefree makes them. Google is your friend.
They come in brown, bordeaux, navy and black
Your awning is an A&E by Dometic - Buckeye_ChuckExplorerThanks in advance
- Buckeye_ChuckExplorerI have the sunscreen that slips into the channel on the roller. I have never tried to roll up that screen with the awning. What I am interested in is finding a screen that will block the Sun from coming in from the side. In my case I get late afternoon Sun coming from the rear of my camper on to the patio.
- md_procoupleExplorerLike the previous member said, you can add a sunscreen type of awning addition, but you can NOT retract your awning without removing it. Good Luck and Happy Camping !!
- azjeffhExplorerI know my Dometic power awnings have an access point on the non-motorized end that would allow me to slip in a shade screen if I chose to do so. I'm thinking any awning shade would work.
If your question is whether it can be retracted with the awning, that I can't tell you.
