You mean when the trailer rolls over, like what actually happened?

In my post on towin in high winds yesterday on I-8, if the trailer was going to get blown over I would be happy that the hitch separated from the truck and let it go, leaving the truck on it's wheels.

The people on the scene said that the fact that the truck didn't roll over saved the people in the truck from possible serious injury.

I guess if you engineer for all possible scenarios the hitch would be too heavy to be hauled by anything other than a semi. :)
