Bal Lock arm stabilizing bars

Anyone use them on their Fifth Wheel? If so do they work and how hard are they to install??:h
Wondering if they are worth investing in or not!clicky
  • I love ours on the landing gear, got rid of the majority of the side to side wiggle up there.
Definitely check Amazon, last I looked they were in the $60 range for 2 of them. Every now and then they will also have "used" ones. I got my "used" ones for less than $50 and were in brand new shape.
  • I put 6 on our 5er about 6 weeks ago. Once you figure out the first set the rest are easy. They didn't remove all the wiggle but about 95% of it. Got mine from Amazon a little cheaper with free shipping. I like the fact they use the same size bolt as my rear scissor jacks and x-chocks.
  • They work well for me.Same priciple as the higher priced ones that look almost the same
  • Took me about 1/2 hour to install a set on my landing gear. No drilling was required. Came with self tapping screws for the frame (upper) and and regular bolts with lock nuts for the landing gear. They work excellent and better than the tripod I was using.
Soon I plan on getting a pair for the rear scissor jacks.
