Bathroom door blocks hallway no more...

At the Washington, DC RV show today we saw a bathroom door in a Montana that when it was opened, the hinges pivoted the door to be partly inside the bathroom and partly outside. The result was with the bathroom door open 90 degrees it did not block the hallway.

DW and I saw this and we immediately knew we need this. It will solve a problem for us with the way the bathroom door works on our Bighorn 3270 5th wheel.

DW's google-foo was very strong tonight and she may have found the actual part. But no picture so we are not sure yet.

    A when our bathroom door is open we have a nice changing room blocked off from the rest of the MH. What seems good for some may not be that great for others.

    Ya, Newmar Dutchstar uses that. It lets them add some more room to the 1/2 bath. Winnie just angles the wall so the door has room, which is how our Redwood is.

    my montana's door to bath opens all the way so it doesn't block the hall.

    My Arctic Fox swings into the bathroom and blocks the toilet when open. No biggy as I close the door when using the toilet.... ;)

    This feature is pretty cool though.

    My Cedar Creek has the pocket door going upstairs as well. Same problem when fans are on. Took a light and shined it in there. Tons of holes going right into the basement area where all the wiring comes up through. Good place for mice to get in during the winter and no good way to get to it to seal it up.

    We were at the show too! I fell in love with the Montana. Loved the front kitchen and the door.
