Battery not charging

We had a very. Rough ride home from Florida to Vermont, due to bad roads. Now our battery isn't charging! We bought a new one thinking that was the problem. Now my husband has found 4 blown fuses that charge the battery. Now what do we do? He feels there is a short somewhere. Any suggestions? Thank you.

    I would inspect the wiring around the tongue. I would say it is possible some road debris damaged the wiring.
    Check the ground connections on the TV and trailer along with the trailer/TV connector. He may want to open up the trailer connector and look for wires that have pulled out of the connection. This pertains to non-molded connector.

    Is the battery hooked up correctly? The blown fuses sound like the battery was hooked up backwards.
