Hello, I am in my first fifth wheel and have a slope to back down where I store/park my fifth wheel when not camping. How much clearance is suggested between the bedrail and 5th wheel?
Truck bed rails seem to have changed recently. I see a lot of 5vers going down the highway looking like they are ready to take off into flight. If I ever decided to go back to a 5ver I would measure the PU bed height & bed rail height. Then measure 5ver height at level. Calculate hitch height & adjustment on 5ver. If I couldn't get 6" clearance I wouldn't buy. My Alpenlite towed down the highway level & with 6" clearance I had no problems. Measure this stuff before you buy. Don't rely on the dealer.
