Bedroom Slide Solitude 369RL

The rollers on the bottom of the bedroom slide are cutting into the floor.Does anyone know how thick the floor is? I'm trying to attach some sheet metal strips to the bottom of the floor, where the slide rollers make contact with the floor. I tried to use wood screws to hold the sheet metal to the bottom of the slide floor, but the wood wouldn't hold a screw. It just disintegrated where the screw was.

Thanks guys. I used Duct tape, but Liquid nails or Eternabond tape is probably better.

Thing with Eternabond is that you'd have to put it over the edges. The 3M tape is double-sided, so you could run it full width under the metal. It's what's used to install emblems and trim on cars, so it's tough stuff.

More than likely, the floor is styrofoam covered by a very thin layer of plywood lumina. It will never hold a screw, you need to hit the floor framing.

Liquid Nails or, maybe, 3M tape (double-sided Eternabond :B).
