Best loop at Fort Wilderness for 40' 5th wheel

We last stayed in the 1400 loop with a 32' 5'er. I thought that a great loop for big trailers. Now we have a 40' fifth wheel and I am wondering what other loops are good for 40' fiver other than 1400.

Thanks,

    This site can help you.

X2 on this site, plus they have a ap that list the sites, it has the size of the site a picture of it empty, how hard it is to back in and even where the hooks ups are located on the site.
  • We stayed in 1421 back in December. We're 44' long and it was great.

Seems most sites except up near the lake (100, 200) are fairly accommodating.
  • We have been in 1800, 1200, and most recently 900 with our 5er and had no issues in any of them. I'd say in most of the loops there will be more desirable sites than others but you should be able to get into any of the full hookup or premium loops.
Another vote for the FortFiends site, some of the members there have extensive knowledge of the Fort.
  • Seems that you will be able to fit comfortably on any of the premium sites. Here is a pic of our rig in a premium site...I can't remember the number. Trailer is 32 ft long and the Dually is a LB, CC.

    Thanks!

  • We stayed in the 700 loop a few weeks ago. Tell them what you have when you get the reservation, and they will pick sites you can fit in. I didn't even unhook while we were there, and fir with several room to spare.
  • Just returned yesterday from the Fort. Most of the Preferred and Premium sites can handle the longer rigs. We were in 1427 this trip.
