Black tank lever broke (help)

The double male threads that hold the lever in place broke. It is cheap plastic. The two washers and lock nuts are still on the cable. Is there anyway to get this operational without replacing the complete unit. It is in the open position. I really do not want to have to put a new valve in. That means cracking open the black tank at the valve. Thanks for your help.

I had that happen on mine an was able to back off the back nut through the hole enough to get more threads an then put the front nut back on, don't know if this makes sense but happened to fix mine.

If it's just the handle, grab it with a pliers and push it closed.

There is a twist on Gatevalve that most camping supply stores sell, just twist it on, I would not use it as a permanent fix because it will add length to your connection, but it's a good quick fix...
