camper to bed rail clearance

Hi everyone my first post here. I have a durango 1500 and was hauling with a F350 long bed with companion with great clearance. I just purchased a 15 silverado 2500hd 2wd. I dont have the recommended clearance between the bed and camper due to how high the truck sits. I have my new e16 slider hitch on its lowest setting and not only does the trailer not sit level but there's about 4in of clearance. What can I do?

I dont want to beat up my new truck. I noticed by the leaf springs the is what seems to be a shackle with 3 holes. Will this raise the camper height? If so how do i do it. Im still new to campers so please forgive my ignorance. Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have the same truck I do? I went out and measured and its 58 in from the ground to the top of my bed rails.

Yes that will raise your trailer. We had a 285rlx2 Durango and I had 6" clearance. There were a few times where the trailer was right on the bedrails but never any damage. Good luck with the correct setup.
