Camping World Tires

Interesting. I got a sales circular from CW today with LT tires advertised for fifth wheel. Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor (I have these on my truck, but nor a good tread for trailer), Goodyear Wrangler H/T (better tread for trailer) and a cheaper Nexen. Marathons advertised for TT but not fifth Wheel. Have they also wised up that ST tires not good for heavy FW?
  • It's hard to say. Tires are rather a touchy subject, as tire dealers don't want to be held liable for anything they say to produce a sale. Dealerships would rather the tire companies be responsible for their own products.

Let me just say that Camping World prices for Good Sam members on the G614 Goodyears are sometimes great.

Any LT (E) rated tires going on my trailer are going to be the Michelin Ribs, R250 Bridgestones or the Goodyear G series tire.
  • clydengail, Stick with an LT tire for the trailer. I have Michelin XPS on mine which in a ribbed type tire. Have been great so far. Michelin also owns BFG which makes a ribbed TA Commercial in LT.

Just bought a set for $304 each but also got a $25 GY rebate per tire making them $279 each.
