Converter Replacement

I have an older Magnetek Series 900, Model 950, 50 AMP Converter that has stopped working. Which Manufacturer and AMP Rating would be a good replcement for it. I am considering either a Power Max or Progressive Dynamics Intelli-Power Converter.

    I'd go with a Progressive Dynamics hands down. We've owned 3 RVs with Progressive Dynamics PD-series converters and have never had a hint of a problem with any of them. The PD92XX (XX is the rated amperage - we have a PD9280) models are smart out of the box. They have the Charge Wizard 4-mode function built into them, whereas the previous PD91XX converters required a small, inexpensive Charge Wizard dongle to activate the smart functionality.

    Without looking at the current catalog, the closest replacement by amperage output rating that I can recall would be the PD9255.
