- Reng8dExplorerPainting it is a more permanent solution, duct tape may come off during your travels.
- blacktopExplorerYes, I put a piece of duct tape there.

Just a suggestion. Drop the landing gear 1/2" and paint a black mark. This will become your limit and prevent future fuse failures.
This is what I did. Never did get around to using an auto-reset fuse. But having a warning mark pretty much eliminates the problem. - magic43ExplorerJust a suggestion. Drop the landing gear 1/2" and paint a black mark. This will become your limit and prevent future fuse failures.

Assuming it is like my Cougar, it is an inline fuse holder, with a plastic cover. Open the cover and find a blade fuse inside. I've blown mine a couple of times.
Looks like this. It is the little black module dead center in this pic.
Had the same problem with my cougar. Once I found it I kept a supply of fuses on hand. Then I bought a reset-able fuse from Amazon.(Bussmann (BP/CB211-30-RP) 30 Amp Type-I ATM Mini Circuit Breaker) It auto resets and it wasn't that expensive.
Best wishes,
randy - blacktopExplorerYes, I found it. Blew a few more fuses until I realized my jack was at the end of its range. Thanks.

- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIICould be an in-line or could be a dc circuit breaker........probably 30A
CB could be like this. May have a small button on side to reset. - therinkExplorerFollow the wires from the landing gear switch. They run directly to the battery from the switch and there should be an in line fuse on the positive wire.
