We keep two large ones and one small one going in our trailer in storage.

Used them for years! Seem to do a very good job. Probably not as efficient as an electric dehumidifier but also nothing to empty every so often. If you are using the Davis during storage, it should work fine. Add a couple Damp-Rid if you want and you should be good to go.
