The "quick cool" vents are on the A/C itself, the shutters along the edge that you can open to have cool air come out to "quick cool" the immediate area.
I removed the bedroom vent shroud to confirm the A/C wiring and controls were there (they are) and I didn't see any visible duct work, the area was filled with foam(to prevent leakage from the duct?) don't know for sure. (that's why I thought the bedroom A/C wasn't vented)
We want to try out current configuration to check our comfort level. If needed we'll put in a second A/C in the bedroom.
