Since there does not currently seem to be a Jayco owners forum, Moderator Frank has graciously allowed this thread. It will be for discussing Jayco related questions and comments. Anything not Jayco related will be deleted. Sounds more than fair to me. Thank-you Frank!

The second a/c is a 13.5 and it is MORE than adequate. I would say you could get by with less unless you're leaving the door open and closing the bedroom vents to help with cooling in the rear.

My retirement date is August 1, so I too will be giving formal notice soon. Our 10-year plan has materialized!!!

House is sold, we'll be living in the 5'er soon. Our son is buying the house, so it wasn't necessary to get rid of every last thing, some things we are storing here for now.

We just purchased a Yamaha Majesty 400cc scooter. Weight 467 lbs. It IS going with us, either on the front end of TV ('08 Silverado 3500 dually diesel) or on back end of the Jayco (35RLTS) I know neither is a good idea, but like I said, the scoot IS going! Thoughts on which is the lesser evil?

Wow...not a third option huh? :h

If those were my only two choices I would say front of the TV would be my choice assuming it does not impair my vision out the front windshield nor does it impair the lights/turn signals...

Quick question...while I know most if not all of us have the 15K AC unit in the living area - for those of you who have the second AC in the bedroom what size is that? (13.5K?)

Can the ends of the Patty O Shade be anchored to the ground?

Blue, yes. We use dog tie downs w/bungie cords in each corner. Does a great job keeping sun/rain out of our eyes and holds the awning in place in a pretty stiff wind. Undo the bungies and the screen goes up with the awning.

I am curious as to what exactly that notice says regarding the lino? I have a annoying creak in my floor in the kitchen right around the center of it. I have always assumed it was just the edges of the plywood sub-floor rubbing.

We also have that annoying squeak in the kitchen. I'd really like to get under that lino to see what's up...

Congrats on your retirement. May life begin!

While I don't own a Jayco anymore I have to give them credit, they move forward with design and overall improvements every model year. However, I am not sure I could stomach that faux stone wall in place of a window.

C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S !!

I am soooo jealous.

Wish we could have met up with you folks up in Oregon, but the DW has set the date for her surgery (end of July), and needs several weeks for recovery time.

As far as the notice ... nope, haven't seen anything yet.
