My converter whined a little when first plugged in or after generator first started. Eclipse swapped it for a new one and it still does it...just for a few minutes. They did fix my shower leak! and they only had it for two days.

Sweet, congrats on the new toyhauler !

The only thing I would do different on my delivery day is do the walk through twice to double check that everything works.
I had a few issues (nothing too major) that I failed to catch and had to take it back to Attitude for repair.

I have a buzzing noise coming from the breaker box area under the fridge. It is only doing it when I am plugged in to the 30amp rv box on the garage.
As soon as I turn anything on (12v or 110v) in the trailer the buzzing quits. It starts back up as soon as I shut everything off.

Earlier in the day it did this and I unplugged and killed the 12v main power too. I plugged back in and reconnected the battery and it was fine. Just went back out and it is doing it again.

I confirmed the little fan inside is NOT running.

Any ideas ??
Is this normal ??

Thanks.

The power control converter that Attitude uses is pretty good unit (PD4000)

Question: Did this issue ever get resolved? My unit buzzes like a rattle snake when all the lights are on.

Mine was buzzing with the lights off. The buzzing only happened when I had no 12v draw.
I took it back to Attitude and they swapped out a panel inside the power control convertor beneath the fridge.

I had called Power Dynamics when it first happened. They knew about this problem and said they were working on a fix for it. They took my info but have never called back.... got tired of waiting and had another issues for warranty repair so went to Attitude and they took care of it.
No more buzzing on mine.

Adams it sounds like you may just have your overhead fan set to on...it's in the AC unit so it needs 110. When you shut off the genny, it too goes off. The heat will stay on since it's 12v. You may have to cycle the thermostat to "fan" and turn it off.

I think when the heater is on, it runs the A/C unit in fan mode. How did you resolve the problem?

It is leaking from a joint where the shower pan, floor, and wall meet, on the far lower left if you are looking at the shower from the outside. According to Eclipse, the water enters from where the shower knobs are, then leaks down and out. It does it every time, so hopefully if you haven't seen it by now, you are in the clear.

I will watch for the leak. Thank you for the heads up. I have only had mine out on one trip and it was just an overnight so shower got used but not much. Next trip to Ocotillo is set for MLK weekend and I will watch for the leak then.

Do all of you have to plug into the generator plug then run the cord to your twist lock shore power plug on the outside of the trailer? I found it odd that the generator is not wired to power the unit. My friend with a 2011 attitude same model does not have to do this. Was this a cost cutting measure?

I am not following you. I haven't found any twist lock plug on the outside of my mine.

The only thing I have to do, to switch from shore power to generator, is unplug from the shore power and put the cord back into it's storage compartment and plug it back in inside the compartment. It just has a standard rv plug inside there.

Do you have a pic of the twist lock plug and location of where it is on yours ? Just wondering what I should look for and where it is since mine should probably have this, since it is a 2012.

Your set up is the same as mine. They just cut costs by not wiring the Gene to the trailer.

I 2nd the shower leak. Took it in its maiden voyage new years weekend and noticed the leak right by the wall and the shower pan, and plexiglass joint.

Another Item I am unsure about is when the generator is running and the furnace/heater is on, the ceiling ac/fan runs as well. When the generator is off and furnace is on, the floor heat is on with no overhead activity. Have not been able to find any info in the manuals about it yet. Is this normal operation or an electrical gremlin?

Yes I have to plug the generator in also and I was thinking the same thing that it was to save money. I have been in RV's from the 80's and did not have to plug in the shore power to get the generator to charge or run the RV

Damn, I was hoping it was a problem with the wiring. Not to happy with that. Transfer switch is always an option i guess

I hated handling that big old cord through the little hole as well so I cut it down to about 4' and made the rest of it an extension cord. I coil it up and throw it in the storage pass through. Many times I'm able to reach the power pedestal without using the extension cord. This way when I get home I only have to pull out the 4' and plug into my shore power cord that stays plugged into the garage.

Great Idea! Do you have pictures? I found a Marinco twistlock here. I don't see why you would ever do it, but have you ran the generator when you were plugged into shore power? How did the switch react? Thanks.

The transfer switch will switch to which ever power source is wired as the priority and disconnect the other source. I test the switch function every time the generator is exercised. Mine is wired with the generator as priority.

I did not take pics of this mod. You link has a good price for the kit -but I would use the $86 vendor as they have a long history.

I bought an inlet only and individual cord ends/boots/connectors and used a weather tite PVC box from Home Depot because of my chosen location on the front left 5er underhang well below the Landing Gear switch. Chose this place due to where I have to store my unit at home.

If I was buying an inlet today -would consider a Furrion unit due to cost.
A good reliable internet source for Furrion.

Should be able to get a 30 amp auto switch for ~$70
