Double tows with a pickup like this are allowed in CA, bumper hitched lead trailer or 5th wheel. Brakes on all trailer axles, carry chains where appropriate. Correct class of CA license or equivalent license from your place of residence is required. i.e if you are legal drivig double tow at home you are legal in CA.
