FYI it's "triple tow". Also it's not legal in several States.
NO - it's (only) called a triple tow in some states, or by some individuals who like the term - and figure it should apply for all 50 states.
CA makes it simple:
You may only tow one vehicle behind your tow vehicle with a non-commercial class A, B, or C Driver's License.
(Pg 29 of the RV handbook)
No double or triple tow terms involved.
With a Commercial Class A Driver's License - and a doubles endorsement, you may tow two vehicles behind (at least) a one ton truck - with length restrictions, etc.
Meet the req's - and you can call it a "double tow", "triple tow", "pulling doubles" - or whatever rings your chimes..:R

We are talking RV's here and "triple tow" seems to be what it's called.
Well maybe in your mind it is. When I double tow I have two trailers I'm towing thus "double". Now if I had three trailers it would be "triple" which is what I've been using for the last 50+ years. Just like double or tandem axe means two or triaxle means three. If triple means 2 trailers to you all the arguing in the world won't change your mind.
