What is the header made out of? Is this the gable end or is the header carrying the rafters?
If it is 2x12's, take it out and replace it with a flitch beam. You could probably downsize it to 2x6's.
My first thought was what you said but not seeing something makes it for a hard decision to give.

You can gain about two inches by deflating tires on the trailer. Pump them back up after you are under the header.

we Like the great outdoors resort in titusville,fl. There are several shed roof RV lots at 150,000.00 that my DRV would fit under. When i was younger we had a slide in camper that we would drive out on the beach at cape hatteras NC. we would run 15 lbs of air in the tires and go anywhere in the soft sand. There all aluminum building bye the way. The market is hot here with all the NORTHERN tax and spend city dwellers moving here. After 5 years of full timing were looking to park our rv at a nice resort for 6 months a year and have a place close to our kids.

So if it is all aluminum, it's just one of those open walls with a metal roof on top that they sell? Basically a cover to park under?
If that is all it is, raise up the all the support posts to increase the height.

What is the ground surface at the entrance. Is it something that can be scraped down. A pic of the structure would help.

Might think about building something like the converter used to pull second of a pair of semi trailers. For walking speed/short distance a plate with hole would work for 5th wheel.
Back in until close to hit, allowing for lift as unload TV. Unhook, push dolly under pin, and lower. Hook dolly to bumper hitch, lift legs, back on in. Put weight on legs before unhook.

Newer DRV's have a flat roof.

Looking at the picture, I see things sticking up from the roof.
Most semi trailers have flat roofs, but when hooked to a tractor the front is higher than rear. I bet the same applies to 5th wheels.

Mine is slightly higher in the front because my hitch is at it's lowest setting and I don't have room to raise the inbox.

I came up with 13-3 ,but was wondering if I could get 3 inches lower bye letting enough air out of the tires before backing under.

make sure you measure from the top of the AC unit to the ground

I have a fan forward of my Bedroom AC unit that has a FantasticBreeze cover. May or may not be the highest point. Bottom line measure from the HIGHEST point.

I would NOT want to let my tires air down enough to get 3" more clearance ... That is a fast way to possibly damage sidewall from all that weight... even if its just a short distance... J.M.O.

Letting air out may work, but would get tiresome, if in/out, fairly often. Maybe you could cut out 3"s or so from header, just 3 ft wide, enough to clear AC. You could add enforcing board to header, so not to weaken.
