- BobKrogstieExplorerIt's hard to know what you need when you don't know what you have. I have 3" cable operated Valterra Bladex valves. I have changed both black and gray valve bodies and seals with a socket and box wrench. The hardest part was getting at the valves, i.e., dropping the underbelly.
- elkfarmerExplorer IISounds kind of silly but on my Kountry Star the black tank seems to stick once a year or so. I pour some used motor oil down the pot and let it sit for a while. Always works somehow. I then catch it and dispose properly. The grey tank leaks somewhat so I put a T58 valve on the sewer line connection so I have a easy dump and no surprises. It would have to get really bad before I would pull the underbelly on that Newmar. I like the T58 so much I put one on our Alpenlite and when I got rid of it put on the new trailer(just in case).
