Do consider the features if electric vs manual.
I hate my electric awning, would like to get rid of it in favor of a manual one.
It goes straight out. Period. Cannot tilt it down or side to side. No provision for tipping to keep the rain off. Have to pull it in every time it rains. Or constantly push the water off. I hate that. I missed once and it filled with water. I stood in the doorway with a broom trying to eject the water and and arm collapsed on one side, sending water cascading inside my rig and flooding the place.
One of these days I'm going to convert mine to manual.
