endurance goodyear tire

update on my op. We went with the Sailun Tires. They arrived today and get them put on Tuesday. Just in time for our 4 day camping extended weekend. Then next month 17 day vacation in Colorado! Thanks to everyone for the comments on the Sailun tires. DH was having hard time finding size we needed but finally ordered them from Trailer Tires and Wheels .com Thanks again Tara:)

Yes, Maxxis tires are an excellent tire. I just purchased my 2nd set last summer. First set aged out at 6 years.

I just ordered the same Sailuns from Simpletire. I looked at the back of my wheels on the inside spokes. I found 3,980 lbs (wheel rating), 16 X 6J, wheel size and width (6"), and 110psi (which is the same as the Sailuns). This info is normally stamped on the back inside of the wheels someplace. Good luck.

There is no doubt you will be happy with Sailun tire.

14.000 GVWR 5er, Sailun, Hercules, Goodyear, all G rated.

Had 3 Maxis tires blow out on one trip matter of fact to Columbus IN. and had 2 of the replacements blow out a month later, and No I do not overload the Camper, stay within weight limits, nor do I run over 55 mph. Have had the Sailun's now for 3 years and Not any problems.

Never heard of a Maximux tire...
..... but if its the Maxxis ST8008 they seem popular to some websites and not on others.
With over 30 members reporting tire issues with their Maxxis 8008 I sure wouldn't use them on a heavy trailer...JMO.
